Most of you know that you can get married, have your honeymoon or renew your vows at WDW in various locations. A good number of people also celebrate their anniversaries at WDW. And if you’re like me, you enjoy celebrating your birthday in the World. But what a good number of people don’t know is, there are some really cool ways to celebrate special occasions at WDW and that there are a lot of additional activities to be enjoyed while staying at one of the many resorts on property. So, I’m going to go over some of the cool things you can do and tell you how you can make arrangements to do these often little known things. First let me say that I am taking all of this from the Walt Disney World website. You can see all of this by clicking here.
Ok, let’s start with your own personal cruise. Yes, I said cruise! You can sail the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay on a Lake Specialty Cruise at WDW! You can set sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, Crescent Lake, or Village Lake. You can take these cruises on the romantic Grand I, a VIP boating experience at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Grand 1, the Grand 1, a Sea Ray 52′ Sedan Bridge Yacht, offers private dining, butler service, and a captain. Enjoy a cruise around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake with the
Magic Kingdom Park and Magic Kingdom Area Resorts as your backdrop.
Theses cruises are available at any time throughout the day. You can also take an evening cruise and anchor just in time for fireworks display. You can contact Private Dining and turn any occasion into a floating party. There is a 1 hour minimum charter time.
You can also take a cruise on the Breathless, Disney’s antique ChrisCraft speedboat. You can enjoy a half-hour day cruise around Crescent Lake near Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. You can take up to 7 guests on a cruise to Epcot for a private viewing of IllumiNations. Reservations are required and may be made up to 90 days in advance. For more information on the cruises you can call 407-824-2682.
If you’re celebrating a birthday, small cakes or cupcakes are available at many of the full-service
restaurants in the parks and resort hotels. If you wish to order a birthday cake, a 48 hour advance notice is required. For further information & dining reservations, please contact the Walt Disney World Dining Office at 407 WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
You can also plan fishing trips, play miniature golf, go horse back riding, and more! To see all of the cool things you can do while staying on WDW property, just click here!
Until next time, have a magical day!
