Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival

One of my favorites times to be at WDW, besides the Christmas season, is during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. True, you can sample food from around the world anytime you visit Epcot but this is a very special celebration. You get those ‘extra’ goodies that you may not expect to see during normal times or that you may overlook because you’re so busy trying to take everything else in. This festival gives you the chance to slow down and enjoy all the wonderful cuisines from around the world.

This year the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be celebrated from October 26th to November 9th. This is the 13th Annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. While you’re at Epcot you can visit all the places in the marketplace and have the opportunity to try regional foods, wines, and beers. You can also check out the many renowned chefs and winemakers during special programs and demonstrations. And it wouldn’t be complete without the Eat to the Beat concert series, a line-up of popular musical acts.

Once you get to Epcot you can go to the Festival Welcome Center to find out all the details. The Festival Wine Shop, the Wonders Bar for champagne and wine, and the official book-signing location for celebrity chefs and authors are also there. And at the Stockpot shop you can pick up some great merchandise, including the marketplace cookbook and a special festival edition of the Disney Gift Card, which provides a handy way to pay for so much fun at the Festival!
