I know this is a bit off the beaten path from my usual posting but a few people have asked me about this subject so I wanted to address it to clear up any misconceptions about using a Disney Vacation Planner to make all of your arrangements for your next trip to Disney.
The question was, “Why should I pay you to plan my Disney vacation or cruise when I can do it myself?” This is a very good question!
First let me clear up the “why should I pay you” part. As a Disney Vacation Planner, which means we are bound to follow all the rules and regulations set forth by Disney, it is against policy to charge you to plan your Disney vacation. We are paid commissions via our host travel agency. The prices you pay on-line or by calling Disney are the same as you would pay through us.
So your next questions is, “If the prices are the same, why not just do it myself?”
Another good question! You could do it yourself. But, we attend on-line and on-site training so we know all the ins and outs of how to make your trip more complete. We can explain to you how the dining plans work, what special activities are available for special celebrations, and more. Basically we make it so all you have to do is get on the plane or drive to your resort on Disney property and just concentrate on having fun! We will make all your dinner reservations for you, give you an itinerary, give you a list of tips and tricks, purchase your airfare, and be available to you should you have any questions while you are on your vacation or before you go. We are here to make your vacation the magical trip you are hoping for.
What you are doing is simply asking for an expert to help you plan your vacation without having to pay them for the service. How cool is that?! It’s our job to take all the worry and confusion out of your vacation planning.
I hope that clears things up for you in case you were wondering how that all works. So when you’re ready to start planning your Disney vacation or cruise, let us know and we will help you make those plans at NO EXTRA CHARGE! As always, thanks for stopping by and have a Magical day!

I think underestimating the amount of planning involved is the biggest mistake in going to WDW. Not planning leads to terrible vacations and it takes time to plan. Some people enjoy that, but I think many wouldn’t mind outsourcing it.
Thanks for the tips. Our family will be going to Disneyland this winter! It was very helpful.
