Starting Jan. 3, 2010, the colonial Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom® Park will operate as a Character dining location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You and your family can cozy up with your favorite Disney Characters while dining in an all-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style setting. This dining experience is a good alternative for folks who might normally choose to dine at The Crystal Palace, which will be closed for refurbishment during this time.

At the recent D23 Expo the Walt Disney Company announced plans to expand Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The plans are to vastly increase the size of Fantasyland by 2013.
